Facilities at College

Libraries and Learning

Zahaq London College has its own library, which contain books on different courses being taught.  Nearby the college is located Council Library that provides state of the art facilities to the residents of Barking and students of Zahaq London College have full access to all the facilities of the library. The library remains open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am to 7pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. This library allows unrestricted access to students all of whom will avail its facility of free Membership for which only proof of identification and address is required.

 

 

IT Facilities

Zahaq London College has well equipped computer laboratory with workstations using the latest software as well as high-speed Internet access. The laboratories are equipped with latest softwares are regularly reviewed and updated.

 

Financial Advice
The College will assist students with information on Learner Support Funds, travel passes, bursaries, Student Loans, Hardship funds, Career development loans and other funding that is available.  

 

Accommodation

Accommodation is a very important part of your stay in England and we will help you to find the best place possible. We will do our best to ensure that you are lodged in safely, and comfortably, while giving you a choice of options available. Accommodation ranges from home stay with British families, to hostels, to hotels, and student halls of residence. Please tell us about any special needs you may have and we will try our best to meet them. Our staff is always available to help you.

 

Recreational Facilities

The area is well served with cuisines of different styles and number of theaters where the students can entertain themselves.  Barking area has a number of gyms, swimming pools and sports pitches like hockey, cricket and football.

 

Airport Pick-Up Facility

On your arrival in the UK, we can arrange for you to be picked up from the airport by the college and taken to your accommodation. If you would like to avail this facility please inform the college of your flight details as soon as you have them. These should include the name of the airline, the flight number, airport of arrival, the date and time of arrival and airport of departure.

 

Transport Facility

Medical & Health Services
Students will be given free treatment under Britain’s National Health Service. If you need medical treatment we will assist you in making appointments with a doctor or a dentist during your stay with us. You will also have access to the benefits of NHS (National Health Services). This includes free consultations with your doctor and free hospital treatment, if required.
